Vinyasa Flow



A dynamic practice of connecting mindful breath with movement. This well-rounded yoga class intelligently sequences standing poses, seated poses, balances, core work, inversions, twists, hip-openers, back and forward bends, all culminating into meditation and relaxation.


Flow through a series of non-stop poses linking your breath with each movement. Vinyasa is translated from Sanskrit to mean connection. In terms of yoga asana, we can interpret this as a connection between movement and breath. Gain and challenge flexibility safely as you move through a series of connected asanas or poses.

What you’re working

What to expect
The focus of class will change from day to day, but you can expect to feel more balanced and stretched by the end. This style allows for a lot of variety, but will almost certainly include sun salutations. Whether the class is fast or slow paced, includes chanting, or is alignment-oriented, will depend on the instructor’s background and training as well as the overall intention of the practice.

What to wear
Bare feet and comfortable, tight clothing that you can easily move in.
