Primal Movement



A fun, engaging, no-tools-necessary hybrid workout combining gymnastics, capoeira, and breakdancing that results in more mobility, strength, endurance, and power.

This free flowing movement based workout gives you a chance to connect with the ground and simply play. We move together primally, as we practice rolls, somersaults, and cartwheels on a soft, padded floor. This class focuses on being flexibly strong and limber while relieving tightness and tension in your back, hips, shoulders, ankles, wrists, and neck. Learn to make flexibility one of your superpowers and test your muscular and cardiovascular endurance while practicing animal inspired moves incorporated with the more traditional type athletic conditioning drills you are used too.

What you’re working

What to expect
Expect to sweat, laugh, let loose, and be totally exhausted by the end of class. The rhythm and the free flowing exercises offer a unique chance to take fundamental fitness movements (such as lunges and push ups) and progress them as you tumble, cartwheel, kick, punch, and even soar like a gymnast. You will spend a lot of time on your hands connecting with the ground, all while gaining a greater appreciation for your body’s versatility. You will leave class feeling limber, loose, and strong!

What to wear
Bare feet and comfortable, tight clothing that you can easily move in.
