MMA Conditioning



Our Mixed Martial Arts class combines the most effective techniques from multiple disciplines with an emphasis on endurance and stamina.


MMA blends elements of boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, and Jui Jitsu. Punch, kick, knee, elbow, take down an opponent, submit, and ground fight using pro techniques and drills. Learn to integrate timing, speed, and force, and how to apply those skills in an actual fight. This is an intense workout that integrates conditioning with coordination and agility for an awesome, empowering workout. *Hand wraps are required for this class and are available to borrow or purchase at the club.

What to expect
Expect a welcoming, friendly environment to become familiar with the basics of Mixed Martial Arts. Gain the endurance of a fighter, without the black eyes. Warm up with drills and get comfortable with the basic language and movement patterns. At the end of class you will have the opportunity to work with an opponent as full contact options are offered, but there are alternatives for those who prefer to work alone. This class includes high-impact movements (possibly involving a partner) which may not be ideal for those recovering from injuries, experiencing health issues, pregnant or breastfeeding, simply hungover, or suffering from hangnails. Hand wraps required; allow 5-10 minutes before class to wrap your hands.

What to wear
Barefeet, hand wraps (provided), comfortable attire required. Gloves are provided, but feel free to bring your own. For those opting for full contact, a cup and mouth guard are suggested.
